Megan Leigh ‘Mac’ Golding (b. 2001, West Midlands, UK) holds a BA in Fine Art from Cardiff Metropolitan University. She lives and works in Worcestershire, UK. Exhibiting as Meg Leigh Mac.
Her practice renders ambiguously dreamlike scenes and often solitary characters presenting suggested narratives, inspired by folkloric practices and anecdotal influences from her surroundings.
The series ‘Wayside Shrines’ captures intimate motifs within ritualistic decorative frames that are hand carved from locally reclaimed oak.
She is currently developing a body of work focusing on worldbuilding and spiritual magic adjacent to the mundane .
Meg Leigh Mac’s practice runs alongside being a technical demonstrator and associate lecturer.
